Tabba Heart Institute has a strong commitment to providing quality healthcare. With this notion in mind, THI is involved in training its staff members, giving them early access to new technologies that in turn gives them the edge to treat the patients with greater expertise. The THI team consists of experts from the fields of cardiovascular and health care.
THI members are also leaders who share their technical expertise and years of experience with future healthcare professionals through various training programs. They not only take part in continuous Medical Education (CME) activities in national and international conferences to keep themselves abreast with the latest developments but also disseminate that information by giving lectures at various national and international forums.
THI physicians are invited as faculty to various national and international conferences. THI is also involved in various research projects that have been presented at these meetings. Staff members also teach Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) at our institution and throughout the community.
We have already started Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology, Diploma in Cardiac Nursing approved by Pakistan Nursing Council, Nurse Aid and Critical Care Technician Training programs.
Some of the facilities for educational and training purposes include a well-equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of 140 people that is connected to the Operation Theatres and Angiography suites for live projection of cases. THI also has two seminar rooms with a capacity of 50 seats capacity, a practical skill laboratory, a digital library with latest online medical journals and books online and the Management Information Systems (MIS) with computer training facilities.
