The library collection comprises of Books, E-Books, Periodicals, Guidelines Review Articles, Research Papers, Educational DVDs, CDs and National Digital Library Database.
Books:
This is the main collection comprising high quality selected books. This collection is organized according to National Library of Medicine Classification Scheme and shelved subject wise like Pure Sciences, Medicine, Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac Anesthesia, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Cardiac Nursing.
E-Books:
THI library has an exclusive collection of E-Books, which covers the subject area of Cardiology, Diabetics, Medicine and cardiac Surgery.
Periodical Collection:
Periodical collection includes hard copies of core titles in the field of Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Anesthesia.
Collection of Review Articles:
THI library maintains an exclusive collection of review articles from the significant Medical Journals. This collection covers the topics related to the field of Cardiology, like Cardiac Imaging, Ischemic Heart Diseases, Congenital Heart Disease, Arrhythmias, Heart failure, Cardiomyopathy etc.
Major Clinical Cardiac Trials:
THI library is also maintaining a collection of Major Clinical Cardiac Trials. This includes all the latest trials in the field of Cardiology. At present three topics have been retained that covers the aspect of Congestive cardiac failure, Coronary Artery Disease, and Electrophysiology.
Digital Archive:
Digital archives consist of an exceptional collection of educational CDs and DVD’s. The collection comprises of three portions: the First portion comprises all the CDs archived by THI. These CDs cover important topics on Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography, Cardiac Catheterization and Angioplasty and Myocardial Perfusion Scans. The second part includes all the CDs related to different Cardiac Diseases and courses like ACLS, BLS, and CDs of Audio journals and lectures by American College of Cardiology. The third portion includes all CDs associated with books.
Besides these, THI library has the fabulous collection of DVDs which contain lectures by American College of Cardiology, Cardiovascular Review Course and Mayo Echo Lecture Video Series by Mayo Clinic Foundation. These DVDs cover most of the curriculum of Cardiology Fellowship.
