The Department of Anesthesia is an independent department at the Tabba Heart Institute. It provides anesthesia and critical care to one of the largest cardiac surgical practices in Pakistan. The department provides a full spectrum of pre-operative and post-operative anesthesia services of international standards to all types of cardiac surgical patients. The department also provides anesthesia coverage for emergencies and cath lab procedures on 24 Hours basis. THI has 2 fully equipped state of the art operating rooms and a 7 bedded ICU backed by TOE facilities for complex procedures. The department comprises of 3 full time consultants,1 senior specialist and 6 RMO's.
